Week three in my inspire week as Gaiman (n.d.) said “Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly" and I am flying now. In this journal I will points out my positive and negative feelings about this week.
Getting to Know my Students
This week I was attached to my students in a way which made me learn all of their names and know their secrets. As teacher we need to break the wall between teacher and students to make students approach us easily. That's why I give out students interest inventory to know them better and to see are they interested in reading.
According to Harmer (1998, p.121), planning is important to organize teachers thoughts, remainders, flexibility and it is for the students to know that teacher care for them. I believe to make the lesson interesting to them is to sometimes choose their interest topic to keep them engaged in the lesson. I prefer engagement part of the lesson plan and I also believe that interest inventory will help to keep students engaged throughout the lesson. If teachers know what interest her most of the students that also will help to know what factors teachers need to focus on. That why I planned to give students interest inventory to know them better,
The importance of the interest inventory related to my research as following. Firstly, to know more about your students. Secondly, to designs activities related to their interest (Differentiated Instructional, n.d.). Thirdly, to engage students to their learning (Students Interests, 2013). Finally, to use it in the lesson plans I assume.
The Negative Moment which Turn to Big Success
During break on Monday one student from my class share her family problem with me and asked for my advice but I couldn't give her reply immediately because my mind went blank on my thoughts of how it can be solved. On that moment I was unpleasant about myself because I couldn't give her solution right away.
As a teacher, I need to do something so I asked her to visit me by tomorrow anytime that she is free or even during breaks. Thanks to Kafaat ILm Coaching program I was able to use it for her.

Coaching is defined as“A cyclical process of enhancing the other persons’ awareness of 'what is really going on'; guiding them to choose responsibility for the actions they will take to achieve their personal goals and helping them to evaluate the consequences"(Link). I used with her OSCAR Model to let her identify her own problem and her own solutions through questions that I ask. In the figure, these questions that I used but I simplify it to her in way she can respond. At the end of the session I give her a quote by Rowland's (n.d.) which state that "We all have different things that we go through in our everyday life, and it's really important to know just at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you face, you know, that you're going to win at the end of the day. You got to believe in yourself. You got to believe in God, know that He's going to get you through it".The session with her was successful because she solved the issue by herself and I just guide her through it.

My Second observation with my MCT Miss Kate success because I improved my skills on teaching Math and I also overcome my weaknesses from my previous observation. I really learnt from Miss Kate how to teach an effective math lesson because she gives her feedback preciously and sincerely which unlocked the door of thing as student-teacher. I get more positive feedback of this lesson compared to other lessons.
My MST Right Hand
I gained my MST trust in a way that she asked me to teach extra lesson for students or check their homework without reviewing with me. She also let me observed grade eight students when she is late to attend the class. It made me realized that how lucky I am to have her as my MST because it is rear for MSTs to trust student-teacher.

Question of the week:
1- Why do you think teacher need to know about their students (not only the names)?
2- Why do you think that I was MST right hand? Why did she trust me?
